Illuminati-Trader Sales

So far, the online version of Guy Cohen's personal system, Illuminati-Trader, has been in test and only released to limited numbers as he tweaked and improved it - and thankfully responded to the feedback he received, including some of the comments we have made here on the Review site.

But now, at last, Guy had decided to go live and release the remainder of the limited number he permitted at the 'early bird' low price.

Go now to grab your copy of Illuminati Trader at the 'early bird' before they're all gone.

TradeFinder Software Results

In a previous post I referred to the TradeFinder software module of Illuminati-Trader producing the candidate trades and then you would move on to the Strategy Analyzer. However, I did not illustrate the results that the TradeFinder provides and I thought you would be interested to see how it looks.

As you can see, your filters produce a number of candidate trades and the software shows a flag for each of the critical elements that you are looking for to identify a successful trade. Clicking on the stock ticker will open a window on the internet news source for that stock. Then, from the left, the red flag opens another relevant finance window, the MSN icon opens a window on the MSN Money chart for that stock and the odd chart indicator in the middle confirms that a chart consolidation is taking place - and will also open a window on the correct MSN Money chart so that this can be verified.

So the effect of the TradeFinder is to sort and filter the indices and present a choice of stocks that meet the range of parameters that the trader wishes to specify. Having done that in a matter of seconds it then accesses and presents the three relevant sources of information required by the trader to decide whether to move to the next stage. All four windows are open simultaneously for a very rapid evaluation with maximumum convenience.

Assuming there are candidates that you wish to continue with then it is on to the Strategy Analyzer which I will deal with in the next post.

Illuminati-Trader - Improved Front Screen

Even as I review the various elements of the Illuminati-Trader package, Guy Cohen is busy incorporating the feedback he has been receiving from his initial customers.

The most obvious effect for the moment is the recent change to the front screen which makes the breakdown of the various modules on the site more intuitive.

071031-New-front-screen.jpgAs you can see from the screenshot, the content has now been grouped as Information in Yellow icons, Education in pale blue and the working Software in dark blue.

This leads the new user progressively from the disks into the workings of the site while enabling practiced users to go immediately to the working software.

Illuminati-Trader, TradeFinder Software

From the main window, you open up the TradeFinder software by clicking the 'Scan for Trades' icon that delivers the screen shown below.  Here the user can input a number of parameters by which the software will scan the markets for suitable trades.

TradeFinder-450w.jpg

Basically, these consist of a Stock Filter by Last Price and Volume, a Stock Analysis where you can select either that there is earnings news or the stock is in a consolidation pattern.

In an Options Filter you can define the amount of Open Interest and finally the Options Analysis allows you to select either the Straddle cost (the cost of purchasing both the put and call options required) as a percentage of the stock price - or just select an Illuminati Formula.

In practice, simply selecting the Illuminati Formula makes it superfluous to have to worry about the Stock Analysis or the Straddle %Cost as it is the specific and optimum combinations of these that make up the Illuminati Formula.

To the top right of each selection box is a question mark icon.  This opens a small help window to refresh your memory of what you are being asked to input.

Likewise, to the top right of the box is the Video icon which, in this case, provides a comprehensive 13 minute instructional video by Guy as he walks you through the results of the TradeFinder search and how to interpret and move forward from that point.  This is, perhaps, the point where the 10 hours of CD instruction start to come together as you are presented with candidate trades and the necessity to start analysing and excercising some judgement.  Fortunately, the next step is use of the Analyzer that I will deal with in the next post.

Reports produced by TradeFinder are based on the previous day's closing prices but if the market has opened while you are doing your selection you can simply Refresh the data to bring you up to date.

Before starting the search you use the Controls box to set the expiration date of the options you would be interested in.  Again, this is an important element of Guy's teaching,  and you also select how the information should be sorted, either by Straddle %Cost, Straddle Cost, Stock Ticker, Strike Price or Illuminati Formula.

The Controls box also includes the conventional icons for Folders, Save to Disk and Email although they are all currently labelled 'Coming Soon'.  I can only presume they will do what it says on the label and simply improve the users ability to store and manage their trading activity.

Having searched for and filtered the markets to produce candidate trades with the Tradefinder module you then go on to analyze your selection using the Strategy Analyzer.  This module is available from the trade selection report you have already produced or, if you want to access it directly, is also available from the top level icons.
